Moving to a new state has its challenges, but the excitement to decorate a new space makes it all worth it.

I haven't moved or even un-packed half of my possessions since I moved from Miami back to Maryland in 2008.  That means I have a crap ton of things that have been in boxes for the past 5 years.  Good God, writing that down makes it seem even more insane!  

My biggest challenge is trying to go through everything and weeding out what I want to donate, trash or replace.  

To get myself ready for the re-decorating I've put together a Pinterest board.  Here are a few of my favorite ideas, that are easy and inexpensive to create!

My Weekend

I took a trip to what I will call my new home in four months.  Currently I live in Southern Maryland, but I've learned that I've outgrown the area and am making the trip to Asheville, North Carolina.  

The area there is perfect for an artsy girl like me, and I can't wait to move!  The only thing that I'm not looking forward to is the moving part, yucky.

Three Day Weekend...

Lovely three day weekends, I'm excited to spend them with family and loved ones!  We don't have anything planned expect moving A into his new place...ughh I despise moving, but I love him and will do anything for him.  

How are you planning on spending your Memorial Day weekend, or if you don't live in the States how are you spending your weekend...is it warm where you live?
